Guests love 2-bedroom Maple Cottage because of the location in Bergvliet, south of Cape Town, just far enough to enjoy a quieter life after a day of work or sightseeing. The four-poster bed gets talked about a lot – come and try it out!
Maple Cottage sleeps four in a cabin-style first-floor apartment, up some steps beside the main house, with the king-size four-poster bed open plan to the lounge and kitchenette. There’s also a second bedroom with bunk beds.
Maple Cottage has a wonderful sense of spaciousness because the glass doors open up to a wide terrace with views to Table Mountain and Constantia Winelands. You will enjoy sitting out here soaking up the sun and watching the sun go down on a summer evening while sizzling some meat on the braai. The bunk bedroom is brilliant for children and we have a play area for them in the garden below.
Tourists tell us they love it here because it’s a refuge from a busy day of sightseeing, and business travellers and digital nomads find the peace and quiet and free WiFi conducive to work.
The house below and beside Maple Cottage is let out separately, but you have good privacy with your own access via steps up to the cottage from the dedicated parking area.

It is just far enough out of Cape Town to feel relaxed but within easy drive of all the tourist attractions to the north (Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Gardens) and to the south (False Bay beaches, Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope). Constantia Winelands are very closeby.
